Antique Tortoiseshell Carved Gold Earrings
We are presenting a very unusual pair of antique earrings in
tortoiseshell, gold and pearls representing a curved Venus, the Goddess
of Love. Please have a close look to this little masterpiece of
sculpture. Venus is lying holding flowers in her hands in a very relaxed
sensual posture. On the neck a little pearls necklace. Really a
wonderful example of the art of carving. We bought them from a family
heritage in Rome. We belive that they are from the end of the 19th
century for a special customer. 14K gold (touchstone tested). They are
in perfect condition.
