Art Deco 18ct White Gold 4 Carat Diamonds Night & Day Drop Earrings Circa 1920’s
Antique Art Deco 18ct White Gold Diamond “Night and Day” Drop Earrings, 4.00 Carats Total, Circa 1925
A spectacular pair of Art Deco diamond “Night and Day” earrings, dating to the 1920s, crafted in 18ct white gold and designed with a sophisticated convertible structure allowing them to be worn either as elegant cluster earrings or with their full articulated drops.
Each earring is centred on a geometric ribbon and fan motif, millegrain-set with brilliant-cut diamonds and accented by precisely arranged baguette-cut stones. Suspended below are three articulated vertical drops composed of alternating baguette and brilliant-cut diamonds, terminating in larger brilliant-cut diamond points. These detachable drops allow the earrings to transform effortlessly from refined daytime wear into dramatic evening jewels.
The diamonds are bright and lively, with an estimated total weight of approximately 2.00 carats per earring, giving a combined total of approximately 4.00 carats.
Convertible “Day and Night” earrings represent some of the finest and most desirable jewellery produced during the Art Deco period, reflecting both technical innovation and refined design.
