Vintage 375 Gold 1950s Vogel Swiss Travel Fob Purse Watch 17 Jewels

A vintage Vogel mechanical travel watch dating from the 1950s. The watch mechanism is housed in a square, 375 Gold inner case that folds into a protective hinged outer case, functioning like a small desk clock when open. The dial is cream-colored with black Arabic numerals at all hour positions and a subsidiary seconds dial above the 6 o'clock mark. The hands are black, possibly blued steel. Text on the dial reads "Vogel" and "Swiss". The watch case includes a fob attachment loop and a side-mounted winding crown. The internal mechanism is a 17-jewel Swiss mechanical movement, likely an FHF 70 caliber. The outer case has a subtle textured or engine-turned finish.
