Simon Joseph Simon-Auguste (1909-1987) was a student at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Marseille. The Musée du Domaine départemental de Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine) as well as the Musée de Fontenay-aux-Roses (Hauts-de-Seine) and the Musée Carnavalet (Paris) hold his works. Painted and patinated wooden frame from the period. Good condition. Requires cleaning.
