Quilted Blanket - Printed Cotton - Provencal Bedspread - 19th Century
Quilted blanket in printed cotton (19th century) including one side in Indian with dense floral decoration in shimmering colors on a well-preserved light cream background, and one side in slightly grayed off-white tones reminiscent of the color of old linen. Quality textile showing no fragility or wear. Fine quilting and suppleness of the materials. Condition: Note an old repair of about 2 cm on each side carried out on the plain part, it is quite discreet and well done (see photo). Plan to replace some dropped stitches in the quilting. Cleaned piece.
