In elm burl and yellow copper. The snuffbox is decorated with stylized waves and palmettes alternating in openwork on the edges while the lid is decorated with an altar presenting objects of worship. Finistère. Marked with the initials BR surrounding a heart and dated 1811. Crack in the wood of the lid. Diameter: 9.5 cm.
