A pair of well decorated Arita blue and white octagonal bowls with a scholar looking at a distant waterfall, his assistant holding a parasol while looking back at two seated figures watching them. Within a continuous mountainous landscape. Arita kilns circa C1700-30.
Maximum diameter; 3 5/8" (9.4 cm).
Condition; excellent, one bowl has a small underglaze firing fault on the rim.
