Two Ocean Hooks Circa 1900
Two ocean fish hooks. Both with a mother-of-pearl body, a glass bead, and wool tassels. The hook on the larger one is made of clam shell and the hook on the smaller one is made of turtleshell. Solomon Islands, 20th century.
Length of the larger one: 16.5 cm. Length of the smaller one: 10.2 cm.
Condition: The smaller lure is in excellent condition. The larger lure has a repaired break in the body.
