Table lamp in stone inlay (travertine) and brass fillet inlay, designed by Mailtand Smith in the USA in the 1970s.
The lamp is made from tessellated stone, a technique in which small pieces of stone are assembled in a mosaic pattern. The brass fillet inlays create graphic contours that accentuate its interesting, geometric and flared design. This lamp is in the Hollywood Rengency style of the 1970s, reminiscent of the ‘Gatsby’ style of the Art Deco period of the 1930s.
Electricity ok, switch and European plug, designed for 220V.
Standand screw-in socket (E27), can therefore be used with E27 Led bulbs.
Very nice original condition.
