Biography
Fernand Flausch (1948–2013) was a Belgian artist from Liège. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Liège—where he later taught screen printing from 1973—Flausch became a major figure of Belgian Pop Art. His exuberant and colorful visual universe blends painting, comics, neon, video, and installation art.
In 1973, he received the Grand Prix at the São Paulo Biennale, a turning point that launched his international recognition.
