Oil on canvas signed lower right. Dimensions 41x32cm, and 54x45cm with the frame. Student of Léon Bonnat at the Beaux Arts in Paris, he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français from 1896 until 1956. He was noticed there for his Breton seascapes and was placed Hors Concours in 1925.
