"Venice The Pigeons Of St Mark's Square"
Oil on canvas predominantly yellow and pink representing a crowd on Saint Mark's Square in Venice in the middle of pigeons flying away, in a beautiful size 100 x 100 cm without frame (white American box). Maurice Bilbeaud (1919 - 1997) is a painter of genre and Mediterranean scenes sometimes bordering on abstraction. A relatively forgotten painter, he exhibited in Bern in 1970.
