Bust Of Saint Bishop - 15th Century
This is probably a reliquary bust, a holy relic once accompanied our Holy Man. One of the oldest pieces in the collection, we will therefore forgive it the imperfections due to its great age.
Despite its outrages, we will appreciate the finesse of its sculpture and the benevolent appearance of the Man of the Church. Wearing the mitre which is the most solemn headdress of the church, it expresses the splendor of holiness.
This is why we speak here of a Holy Bishop.
A work of the 15th century in carved wood in the round. Accidents and old wormholes. The wood is sound. Dimensions of 54 cm by 28 cm
