English Jewelry Box Mid 19th Century
beautiful and solid mahogany veneer box, reinforced on all edges with a brass angle screwed to avoid shocks when traveling. Initially fitted out as a travel kit, the trays and compartments are perfect for storing jewelry. There are even notches for rings. On the side, outside a drawer closing with a key. We report a small tear in the veneer in front, otherwise good condition of the varnish. Retractable handles on the side complete the fittings. the locks are functional (two keys)
