Oil on canvas representing the portrait of the painter and engraver Edouard Goerg (1893-1969), by Jean-Eugène Bersier, painter and engraver born in 1895 in Paris and died in 1969 in Saint-Barthelemy-d'Anjou.
Signed and dated 1941 lower right.
Good general condition, note a small restoration near the right shoulder, and some small paint losses at the bottom left at the base.
Dimensions : 73 X 60 cm.
Jean-Eugène Bersier was a student of Jean-Paul Laurens, Maurice Denis, René Ménard and René-Xavier Prinet.
