Our cross has an interesting lineage because it comes from the collection of the Hôtel Dieu in Lyon. It was the first Lyon hospital created in the 12th century where Rabelais officiated.
The three ends of our piece full of history are decorated with scrollwork. At the foot of the cross is the Virgin, arms crossed and in pain. In silver-plated bronze - very good condition - without staff
