Circa 1931-1934 France Lyon Beautiful never used coupon of a 105 cm wide lamé from the famous Lyonnaise Maison Bianchini-Férier and dated 1931, 1932 and 1934. Soft border weave on a Jacquard loom, with a black satin background dotted with flowers with an assumed exotic taste. Brocaded border of gold blades and green, pink and blue silk recalling the Indian textile tradition since the Mughal era. Heavy, supple and weighty fabric that was used by the great French haute couture houses. Full width of its fluted selvedges and handwritten label indicating Bianchini Lamé as well as order numbers and dates. No defects, in new condition. Dimensions: 300 cm x 105 cm.
