Antique Porcelain Plaque In Old Wood Frame
Portrait of a young woman on a rectangular hand-painted porcelain plaque depicting the three-quarter bust of a young woman. She has curly hair adorned with a rose and a blue ribbon, and is dressed in a flowing, matching drape. The delicacy of the lines and the softness of the colours are indicative of work of the highest quality (in the style of KPM or Limoges). Presented in a blackened wooden frame, accented by an inner moulding of gilded brass chased with ovals.
