Pair of lidded porcelain urns with a turquoise-blue background, baluster-shaped, resting on a circular pedestal and featuring two gilded side handles.
The body of each urn is adorned with a hand-painted oval medallion depicting a romantic scene in the 18th-century style, set within a rich frame of gilded foliage and rocaille motifs. Gilded fillets and raised bands elegantly highlight the neck, handles, and pedestal.
French work in the style of the Sèvres porcelain manufactory, bearing an apocryphal blue mark on the underside of the base featuring two intertwined “L”s.
