Iran, 18th or 19th century, medieval-inspired brass basin or Tâs, with domed base, convex wall and arched opening, richly engraved decoration.
The outer wall is encircled by a wide band composed of four thuluth epigraphic cartouches, alternating with medallions in a moving reserve decorated with leafy interlacing and/or arabesques and geometric friezes.
