Front Of A Framed 18th Century Roman Chasuble
This object is the front of an 18th century chasuble in silk and silver thread, now preserved in a wooden frame.
It is a white chasuble, a liturgical color corresponding to the celebration of the major feasts of the Catholic Church.
It has embroidery of colored plants and flowers with silk thread and embroidery in silver thread forming a cross and emphasizing the collar; it also enhances certain embroidered elements, such as the pink ribbon, in the lower part.
The chasuble is patched in two places.
