Arthur Eugène Perdreau was born in Gueux in the Marne. He studied painting with Cécar de Gock and Jules Denneulin. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris between 1885 and 1894 and lived in Lille and Paris. He painted landscapes, farm scenes, nature near Lille, in Artois, in Etaples sur mer and in Boulonnais.
