19th Century Louis XVI Style Marquetry Box
Adorable little box from the end of the 19th century, imitating the Louis XVI style in marquetry of various species. The box is dressed in blond walnut burl, decorated on the lid with a floral diamond in marquetry tinted green in different shades, and surrounded by a rosewood line. The interior is dressed in lemon tree, and decorated with mahogany diamonds. The varnish as well as the box are in perfect condition.
