A small, round, finely chased and openwork solid silver box with a lid inlaid with mother-of-pearl, decorated with a small figure beneath a garland playing between two animals (a bird and a dog?), and a tortoiseshell interior. Dating from the 19th century, this box is in good condition and of very high quality. Hallmarked on the side. Note: minor dents, some small scratches, and signs of age (see photos).
