Lovely little oval portrait, in pencil, from the Empire period, of a young girl in profile. Anonymous of course, but the pencil stroke is skillful and nervous, worthy of the good portraitists of this period. as is, never opened, original curved glass, gilded bronze border, perhaps this hides inside the identity of the model and the author, a small copper or steel ring would allow us to simply hang it on the wall.
