Spectacular portico clock with Revolutionary calendar at 30 days, period 1794. In white and black marble and mercury-gilded bronze, double pilasters with busts of women and 4 fluted columns with Corinthian capitals, two magnificent lions reclining with the Royal eagle with a serpent. Some minor scratches on the marble due to time. Very large wire movement with its sun balance, huge original bell, very beautiful hour and a half strike. Asymmetrical winders. Historic dial, red and blue numerals for the date, some minor accidents and old repairs, signed La Croix à Paris, watchmaker of the Vanercruse family known as Lacroix. Museum clock, impressive!
