Exceptional Pastel by DELÉTANG because it is one of the last paintings before his death dated 1951, a beautiful pastel representing a ball in front of the pediment of the church of Irissary in the Basque country very close to St Jean Pied de Port. Robert Adrien Delétang (1874-1951) was a portraitist and landscaper, his brush was attracted by Basque and Spanish scenes and landscapes. Dimensions 53.5x38cm with frame and without 49x34cm.
