Floral Decorative Panel In The Louis XV Style - Oil On Canvas Dimensions: 79 X 75.5 Cm

A superb Louis XV-inspired decorative panel, this oil on canvas seduces with the elegance of its composition and the finesse of its execution.

In the center, a delicate floral basket holds a generous bouquet of peonies, roses and country flowers, treated with great subtlety in a palette of soft, luminous pastel tones. The whole is inscribed in a cartouche adorned with floral garlands and knotted ribbons in shades of blue, standing out harmoniously against a particularly refined old rose background.

The balance of the composition, the quality of the drawing and the lightness of the touch evoke the great mural decorations of 18th-century France, in the taste of workshops inspired by the rocaille aesthetic.

Presented in a generous format, this work offers a strong decorative presence while retaining great delicacy, ideal for sublimating an elegant, classic or contemporary interior.
