St Roch born in Montpellier around 1348 is here represented in Romieu pilgrim's clothing, showing his wound, a dog at his side. Finely sculpted This beautiful terracotta has retained its polychromy. It is signed JH DEWEZ, Belgian civil servant and historian - 1834.
