19th-century Jardinière, Probably Manufacture Earthenware La Villa Du Rond, Bonnetable, Sarthe
Artist: Manufacture Supposée De La Villa Du Rond à Bonnétable (sarthe).
Very beautiful oval earthenware planter, the body worked in relief of gadroons, the upper edge decorated with shell and foliage scrolls, it presents a decoration in the style of the Dutch decorations of the Delft factories, but here it is certainly a question of a piece from the La Villa du Rond factory in Bonnétable, in Sarthe (if you have a different opinion on this last subject, your clarification is welcome).
A very good quality earthenware, in very good condition, and which rings with a beautiful sound.
* First third of the 19th century *
Length: 33.3 cm / Depth: 16.5 cm / Maximum height. 13.4 cm
