Pharmacy Jars, 19th Century
A set of five early 19th-century apothecary jars.
These jars are made of earthenware and manufactured in Paris.
Only one bears the red Déroche stamp from Paris.
The style is Directoire, simple yet very elegant, in two shades of green and manganese. Daily use has left some marks (small chips on the neck or base).
The largest, Ol Cero (28cm), is in good condition with its lid.
Pil SAP is in good condition with its lid (20cm).
Co Genièvre has chips on the neck and no lid (17cm).
Ext d'Allée is signed Deroche in Paris and has a restored lid (24.5cm).
Co de Roses has a chip on the neck and no lid (17cm).
