Beautiful quality portrait of a young woman, made in black chalk and faded. Gentle face but firm expression. Hair and pearl necklace particularly well rendered. Well rendered volumes. Period difficult to determine: Louis 13 or Louis 14 style portrait, paper which seems to me to be rag paper. Out of caution, I am selling this drawing as 19th century, even if I think it is older. Very nice achievement nonetheless. France.
