"Large Neoclassical Drawing"
Large and beautiful Neoclassical drawing circa 1800, representing an antique scene "Flora", in grisaille. Very good quality of execution. Inscription "Flora, after the original drawing by Mr Lafitte". Pasted on a wash mat on a blue background. Note: wear visible on photos, in particular on the bottom of the sheet, as well as some traces of humidity on the mat. Does not affect the overall readability. Dimensions: 55 X 43 cm with mat, 45 X 33 cm drawing alone.
