Artist: Charles Martel
Young Women in a Gondola in Venice, oil on canvas by Charles Martel (1869-1922)

Charles Martel was a pupil of Paul Saïn and met Emile Bernard in Paris. The two painters stayed together in Venice, where he painted this picture, reflecting his infatuation with the Serenissima.
