Emilio Rizzi: Woman In Front Of Her Dressing Table

Oil painting on canvas, circa 1900, in the Art Nouveau style. It depicts an interior scene featuring a woman seated at her dressing table. The Louis XVI-style furniture is beautifully rendered, as are the toiletries. The woman is wearing a light dress, as evidenced by the transparency of the upper part of her body; her shoes are placed on the rug. The rendering of the drapery and sheer fabric is flawlessly executed! The use of warm colors lends this work a great deal of sensuality.
The artist, Émilio Rizzi, was born in Brescia, Italy. This painting dates from the 20th century, around 1900–1920, and is in the Art Nouveau style.
It is presented in its original carved and gilded wooden frame, which is in very good condition. This painting has not been re-stretched, and there are no holes or signs of restoration!
