Heraldic Fireplace Brick Anno 1702
Once is not customary, I would sell my soul to a pretty devil to obtain the instructions for reading this heraldic fireplace brick. It was neatly wrapped in a rag in a forgotten attic. in Normandy.. It therefore never fulfilled its role in the masonry of a chimney. I see a shield, a crown, acanthus leaves and the date anno 1702.... I searched and I deduce that we wanted to honor the advent of Anne Stuard... Normandy has always had a special link with the English... It was tinted brick red, the chamotte originally seems to have been lighter. Unfortunately no brand helps me,,, I'm waiting for my devil.
