A large and imposing fireplace in thed Renaissance style. From the mid-nineteenth century. Ca.1850-1860. In soft orange-red marble. The voluted, bold columns are topped by deep fluted corbels. A wooden frieze has to be replaced. Height of marble without frieze: 53 inch (135 cm). Fireplace will be delivered with old marble floortiles, to make a frontfloor. Fireplace stood once in one of the groundfloor-rooms in Maison du Gouverneur Dubonnaire in Mons-Belgium. Worldwide shipping.
