He had to be observed by the students of the veterinary school, at numerous sessions... Obviously a didactic "naturalia" preparation, undoubtedly by the Boubée house, was easier to store on the shelf than to bring a real horse into the audience... That being said, this object was part of a magnificent cabinet of curiosities, developed for the exhibition at the Leclerc center in Landerneau in Brittany, on the occasion of the exhibition of the same name. Superb patina, on its original base.
