Bovine Fetus During Gestation Veterinary School, Early 20th Century
Thank you to Dr. Auzoux and his successors forbequeathing these educational objects to us.
Let’s put ourselves back in a time when screens didn’t exist….
You had tohave a strong stomach to pursue a degree in medicine or veterinary medicine…
Especiallyin the summer, without refrigerators….
Some publishers, such as HMD (Hygiene Museum of Dresden), Bock Steger inLeipzig, and Somso, specialized in producing educational aids,
first in plaster and later in other materialsas well.
Barely taken off a school wall, this embryo ofwhat will become a calf is in perfect condition….
A rare find.
