A triskelion is a solar symbolism based on legends relating to the triplicity and solar character of the Celtic god Manannán (stories well before the birth of heraldry)... I learned things about it by reading Wikipedia (among others the texts on Manannan Mac Lir). So I offer you this Celtic object which can be used as a facade ornament or a trivet... as you experience it...
