Elegant embossed and engraved copper coffee pot from the Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition period. Baluster body on straight plinth decorated with a pattern of dots, mounted by brass brazing. Body decorated with a coat of arms framed by two lions under a marquisal crown on one side, a polylobed cartouche surmounted by a ribboned knot and a frieze of palmettes in the lower part. Flat handle fixed by riveting. Lid mounted on hinge (small weakness at the hinge) and its acorn-shaped grip button. Long curved pouring spout engraved with dots and enhanced with an engraved fleur-de-lys. Some scattered dents, very acceptable given the usefulness of this item. Good condition.
