Very elegant with its crown-shaped guard, made of brass strands secured by rivets.
Swinging brass handle secured with rivets.
Cylindrical, slightly flared copper bowl, beautifully decorated with striated friezes and engraved motifs of dolphins and foliage.
The upper section opens on a hinge for adding embers; features a pull ring and a functional metal spring closure.
Beautiful patina, no excessive polishing.
Some visible distortions and small dents, but these are to be expected.
Everyday object, genuinely authentic.
