Empire Period Secretary, Fruitwood And Gilt Bronze, Veined Marble Top, 19th Century
Beautiful fruitwood secretary desk mounted on oak and with detached columns. It opens with an ogee drawer, a fan and two flaps offering ample storage space. Trimmed with chiseled and gilded bronzes. The keyholes are in bronze and the top is Sainte Anne gray marble. The flap is covered in period leather, with gold decoration, revealing a theater decorated with two columns and offering five drawers. A single original key for both functional locks.
