Napoleon III Mahogany Display Cabinet - Circa 1880

Charming Napoleonic display case with its rounded shapes, curved front and arched sides. At support height, it is in Mahogany and mahogany veneer, circa 1880.
It opens with a 6 cm deep drawer, hidden in the belt but nevertheless decorated with carved garlands in the lower part and which continues in net on the sides.
The central part, offers two doors with medallion windows, the contours underlined by a curved rod and top and bottom ornaments. They lock and the one on the right has a brass lock over its entire height. These doors reveal a mahogany interior equipped with two mahogany veneer shelves, adjustable on racks, each offering a maximum width of 28 cm.
The uprights are cut with projections on the upper part, then with cut sides decorated with Acanthus leaf falls.
This Display Cabinet ends with a molded and fretted plinth, resting on two front feet worked in scrolls and two straight rear feet.
