"Cd 10 Luigi Loir : “the Village”"
CD 10 Luigi Loir (1845-1916): “The village”, pencil drawing on paper 11.8 X 35 cm (small accident). This set of drawings and watercolors comes from the same Landes collection, obviously all chosen with taste and framed with care and demonstrate a discernment that is as eclectic as it is qualitative. The Artist, who began as a decorative painter, dealing with immense frescoes, subsequently devoted himself to numerous easel paintings depicting Paris. However, for his drawings and watercolors, of great virtuosity, he multiplied the small formats, often the size of a business card! Here, a peaceful village with thatched-roof houses.
