Pair Of French Art Déco Forged Iron Stools Offwhite-colored Bouclé France 1930s
Pair of delicate forged Art Deco iron stools - offwhite colored Bouclé fabric France 1930-ies.
The stools each stand on 3 legs that curve down slightly and elegantly, forming a volute towards the seat.
The 3 legs are connected under the seat with a ring and towards the legs connect 3 oval, almost elliptical elements.
Connected in the middle with a small gold-plated hemisphere.
The round seat surface has been reupholstered and slightly rounded in the middle 2cm raised.
Height of the seat 8cm of which 6cm lateral edge.
Pierre Frey's Bouclé fabric blends nicely with the black and brown iron and with the gold center of the leg space.
The stools are light-footed and elegant, but very stable and very integrative.
Completely reupholstered and recovered with new fabric.
