Exceptional Italian mid-century cast iron floor lamp, golden brown color, by Banci, Florence, 1980s
Gilt metal base and stand – abstract outer decoration in iron (thickness 6-9 mm) lacquered in dark brown.
The object is embellished by the abstract outer decoration, which wraps the foot like an abstract cloak.
This cloak has irregular perforations and the edges are rough and irregular.The off-white coarse silk shade is tall and gives the lamp a column-like appearance, while being very elegant and harmonizing with the style of the base.
Cream-colored silk shade laminated on white, dimensions: 57 x 26 cm / 1-light electrification.
Dimensions: column diameter 20 cm, base 30 cm, shade 26 cm.
There is also a 60 x 30 cm shade, but in less coarse silk, see last photo.
