Ziyata Morocco Oil Jar 18th / 19th Century Glazed Terracotta
Ziyata oil jar, Morocco, probably 18th century or later 19th. In green glazed ceramic with an ovoid body on a cylindrical base topped with a cylindrical neck marked with a projection and finished with a large everted lip hollowed out by a small channel and connected to the body by a curved handle. Different strille patterns and frieze with floral/geometric pattern. Restoration of the handle visible on photos. 22cm in height, 13cm in diameter.
