"Chinese Child's Tiger Hat - Clothing Curiosities - Late 19th - Early 20th Century."
Pretty and rare children's tiger hat in green fabrics (cottons and silks) and silver and gold thread embroidery. The hat transforms the child into a little exorcist because, under the tiger hat, the child becomes a tiger and obtains its protective power against evil spirits. Three black stripes, like on the animal's forehead, adorn the hat. Period: Very late 19th century - Early 20th century.
