China Tang Dynasty period (618-907), rare and very pretty miniature statue of a Buddhist monk, in prayer posture, standing on a lotus. Bronze, with a red and green patina.
Height: 8 cm with its Plexiglas base (6.7 cm for the statuette alone). The scale indicator in the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to everyone.
Good condition.
Provenance: private collection of a great lover of Chinese works of art from this period.
